Is going "on cup" the same as going on record?

Forbes reported that Starbucks’ chief exec Howard Schultz has written a note across the mugs  of his 120 stores in the Washington, D.C., area to the country's policy makers: “Come Together.”

The special message is targeted directly at government officials that are working toward that eleventh-hour, fix the fiscal cliff predicament the nation is facing. Schultz adds his message to the comments gathered from other billionaires that feel this situation has dragged on long enough.

We paraphrase a line from the song Come Together by Lennon-McCartney to support the sentiment of  the nation’s billionaires toward our country’s decision-makers.

“Come together right now … over [it]!”
