Right about now, Park City, Utah, is more “Hollywood” than, well, Hollywood itself. It likely has more major entertainment execs per capita than there are in Los Angeles.
So, let’s remain hopeful that there are enough cell-phone hubs to accommodate the movers and shakers of La-la land.
It has come a long way since its debut in 1985, when the fledgling festival showed around 24 films. There will be 119 feature films from 32 countries at this year’s festival, reports CBS News. But like so many success stories, it just happens. Who knew?
"It's gotten pretty overwhelming," Redford said. "I never dreamed when we started - we didn't even know that we would last - and then when it lasted and grew, it became huge. I never anticipated that it would get to this size."
