While the majority of the computer sales are from the MacBook lines, the iMac is back. The newest iMac is thinner than ever. It is a workstation of serious proportions.
As the in depth review of the new iMac by TechCrunch indicates, it was the iMac that enabled Apple to ultimately introduce its iPhones, iPods, iPads, and laptops.
But as we enter 2013, the world is a much different place than 1998. Beyond the aforementioned iPods, iPhones, and iPads, in the “traditional” computing space, everyone seems to be using a laptop nowadays. In fact, something like three quarters of Apple’s Mac sales are now made up of their MacBook lines.
