According to a report from the AP, one million more travelers vacationed in Spain in 2012 than the previous year.
A total of 58 million people visited the country, which is a three percent increase over the previous year. Along with the United States and France, Spain is among the world’s top three destinations for tourism. This bodes well for the nation, as it attempts to emerge from its second recession within a three-year period. Only tourisms and exports have circumvented the economic woes that have plagued it.
