While the development of virtual reality looms, the work being done by firms strident on bringing this vision to fruition is gaining momentum.
The Verge reports that one such developer, Oculus, received an additional $75 million to further advance the Oculus Rift headset. Based on the enthusiastic view expressed by the writer Sean Hollister, "THEY HAVE REALLY NAILED THOSE THINGS," it would appear that more good news is on the horizon.
So far, the startup has received a total of $91 million without even making a sale. The future looks bright to say the least.
