Lucille Bliss, the voice of numerous famous cartoon characters, died last week. She was the voice of Anastasia in Disney’s Cinderella; the voice of Elroy on The Jetsons; and did various character voices on The Flintstones; and others. Ms. Bliss was 96 years old.
"She was a pioneer in television animation," said Charles Solomon, an author and animation historian. "'Crusader Rabbit' really set a pattern for a lot of future shows — the smart little character and the big dumb sidekick."
