Design Platform Flanders organises on Monday October 22nd 2012 at Kortrijk Xpo together with Designboost (co-founded by David Report's editor-in-chief David Carlson) the second Flemish Design Summit. The event allows you to build and share knowledge on design through inspiring lectures. The speakers is a mix of Flemish and foreign speakers: There will be three sessions of one hour each: Session 1 between 12am-1pm: Ineke Hans – designer (NL), Koen Verhaert – founder of Verhaert (BE), James Irvine – industrial designer (UK). Session 2 between 3pm-4pm: Max Fraser – deputy director London Design Festival (UK), Annita Beysen – managing partner at u-sentric (BE), Stephen Burks – sustainable design entrepreneur (US). Session 3 between 6pm-7pm: Jaime Hayon – designer-artist (ES), Dirk Wynants – Extremis (BE), Marcus Fairs – Dezeen editor-in-chief (UK). 7.30pm: Cocktail and networking 8pm: Finger food – create your own creative dish. 9pm: Music and party.
