Recall recap: Graco Classic Wood Highchairs; Honda CR-Vs; and Dodge Dakota and Ram 1500 vehicles

October 12, 2012

You know the saying, they just don't make products like they use to? The same goes for new products fashioned after "classic" models, such as Graco's Classic Wood Highchair, 86,000 of which were recalled this week because they pose a fall hazard to infants.

In auto recalls, Honda recalled some 270,000 2002-2006 CR-V vehicles because the driver side power window switch may fail or melt. And Chrysler recalled 2009-2010 Dodge Dakota and Ram 1500 vehicles because the rear axle may loosen, posing a crash risk. Loss of oil pressure and sudden engine failure also pose a crash risk in some 700 recalled BMW 2013 M5 and M6 vehicles. In food recalls, more food manufacturers pull products related to salmonella-contaminated bulk peanut butter and nut butters.
