Topping the list for worrisome recall news, Sportspower Trampolines sold exclusively at Sports Authority from April 2007 to May 2012 earned the "please go out and check immediately" award: The trampoline's metal legs can puncture the jumping area, posing a serious laceration hazard to users. Sportspower is aware of one incident where the metal legs punctured the jumping area, but, fortunately, no injuries reported so far. Two products that experience heavy household use were also the subject of recalls this week. Some 13,000 Kirkland Signature Sauté Pans were recalled because the glass lid can shatter, posing a laceration hazard. And Harbor Freight Tools recalled 108,000 cordless drills because they pose a fire and burn hazard to the user, not something you want to happen during a DIY project. read more
