Jon Jory may be the nation?s most prolific living playwright, with more than a thousand scripts under his belt (both under his own name and, it?s believed, under the pseudonym of Jane Martin). For the past five years, he has focused on adapting the 19th century novels of Jane Austen, the fourth of which ? ?Persuasion? ? made its world premiere Friday at OnStage Playhouse in Chula Vista.
