Situated just 10 minutes from Stanstead Airport, Linden House is a Boutique Hotel and Restaurant that offers great food and 5 star accommodation. The first thing that you?ll notice about this hotel is the creative design and attention to detail in the interior, illustrated on arrival by the two life-size wood carved Great Danes that stand guard at the door and greet you as you enter. With no formal reception desk, you immediately feel at home as you step into the lobby area and realise that this is no ordinary hotel. The ?reception? feels like the hallway of a stately home with vaulted wood-panelled walls, stately armchairs and a wood burning stove where we were greeted by a member of staff and shown to our room.
You can choose from 5 different types of room ranging from the standard ?Classic? option to the more deluxe ?Four Poster? and ?Superior Suite?. We were in a ?Superior? room which was large and spacious and had some interesting features including a stand alone bath, king size bed and the focal point, an exposed chimney stack in the centre of the room. Whichever option you choose, you will not be disappointed as all nine rooms are beautifully appointed with unique furnishings and sumptuous decor and all come with the necessary facilities including free wifi, LCD flatscreen TV and an ipod docking station.
