Thomas Jefferson Never Said That

"Thomas Jefferson once famously wrote, 'All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.'" But a researcher at Monticello says that there's no record of him ever having written or said it - or many other quotes attributed to him. The Wall Street Journal 12/07/12
