The Grosvenor Hotel in Victoria has launched ?An Evening of High Tease? with special guest, burlesque dancer Bettsie Bon Bon, to celebrate the final stages of the Hotel?s multi-million pound refurbishment and the grand opening of its new Victorian Lounge.
Dubbed the ?Victorian Parlour?, the Lounge has been tastefully redecorated by interior designer Lorna Griffiths of STS Design, and combines tranquil hues of pale green and gold with beautiful chandeliers, exotic palms, Asian-inspired screens and designer furniture. Portraits of powerful, inspirational women of a bygone era take centre stage, including the first ever female MP, Nancy Astor, and the Hotel?s most famous former visitor, the Parisian Courtesan, Cora Pearl.
