ASPCA to pay $9.3M in circus elephant lawsuit

This lawsuit is no longer the elephant in the room. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will pay the owner of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus a whopping $9.3 million to settle litigation that has churned through the courts for 12 years.
