Still trying to cool your sky-high heels this weekend after all the holiday hubbub? If you're anything like me, you're probably dead exhausted, and don't want to put so much effort into digging through your closet. However, you can still pull off great post-New Year's looks with style (and comfort), whether you're gabbing with friends about resolutions at brunch or (save for the occasional run to the grocery store) hibernating at home. Here are just a few on-trend ideas to start 2013 on the right foot.
This combo of the oversize knit sweater, slouchy hat, face-hogging shades, and leather leggings is low profile but chic. This look is speaking to me.
Throw your hair back into a loose bun or ponytail and throw on a trench over a chic pajama set like the gal above (I like how it's effortlessly match-y), and you are so ready for that quick grocery run.
OK, so the above works for three reasons:
1.) Updated sweatshirts are so hot right now. If you ask me, I'd say the more graphic the better, plus homegirl nails it with the off-the-shoulder Pink Floyd design.
2.) Those pants are everything; I've been dying for some of my own.
3.) You can actually wear this out of the house. Like, somewhere else besides the store. Amiright?
So which of these ideas was your favorite? And what are you wearing today? I don't know about y'all, but I'm going straight to bed!
