Front Roe: My 5 Favorite Clutches (What's Your Go-To Going-Out Bag?)

January 8, 2013

Monika Chiang chain clutch: This gray clutch is a gorgeous mix of demure and feisty—metal spikes and chain tassels surround the soft gray suede. I wear it with gray pointy stilettos, leather biker pants, and a loose boyfriend-style white shirt, collar up. Hair in a messy topknot and a slick of liquid eyeliner.

Accessorize floral clutch: Such a statement bag—but totally affordable! The texture on this piece is amazing; it always elicits compliments and questions. I pair it with a cute black skater dress and studded biker jacket, to balance out the girly-ness.

Vintage Aztec print clutch: I found this gem underneath a cat and a pile of scarves while we were filming in London's best vintage store, Beyond Retro! I had to have it. I wear it with leopard flat loafers, skinny faded Paige denim blue jeans, and a tailored chocolate brown coat from Tibi.

Monica Chiang box clutch: A showstopper—this printed emerald green and sapphire blue clutch is incredibly elegant. I have worn it to a ball with a strapless lace gown from Femmes D'armes, but I've also teamed it with electric blue pants (also by Monika Chiang) and a gray cashmere sweater. I like to mix textures.

Louise Roe for Stylistpick burgundy clutch: This is my fashionista briefcase! It fits files and a laptop, plus the faux-fishskin is a really great texture that works with spring dresses but also heavy winter coats.

Your turn! What are your go-to clutches? Do you wear them exclusively for evening or during the day too?
