Revenue is down for Apollo Group

Revenue and enrollment declined in the first quarter for the Apollo Group, parent company for University of Phoenix. The giant in for-profit education reported Tuesday that year-over-year revenue fell by about 10percent to $1.1billion in the first quarter, which ended Dec. 30. Year-over-year enrollment at the University of Phoenix also declined by 14.3percent to 319,700.
