With all due respect to Emma Stone and Taylor Swift, I only have eyes for one woman on the red carpet this week, and that is the untouchable Kerry Washington. Her stylist, Erin Walsh, tells us, "Working with Kerry is completely collaborative--she has exquisite taste and very specific, impeccable instincts." To which we say, duh.
Last night was her most wow moment of the week--check her out at the UK premiere of Django Unchained in a white gown with a horse print and a bustled back (can you say drama!?) by Giles. "I LOVE the pony dress," Erin tells us. "I joked with Kerry that I was literally dreaming about it!" White Christian Louboutin pumps and a perfect dark lip completed the look.
At the Berlin photocall earlier in the week, she wore the same shoes with this downright adorable checkered look from Louis Vuitton spring 2013. 55% of you said you loved it, and I'm squarely with ya'll. How cute is that hair accessory?!
She showed off her love of color and prints at the Berlin premiere, working the heck out of this floral gown by J. Mendel. A bold pink lip was the absolute perfect complement. "For her beauty direction, Kerry usually has an idea of what will work best, but we are all a team and everyone has input," Erin says. "And I love all the lovelies she has assembled on her team--Carola Gonzalez for makeup and Takisha Sturdivant-Drew for hair."
At the Paris premiere, she was in prints once again--a strapless bustier gown by Rochas.
And finally we have the Rome premiere, where she kicked off seven straight days of utter chicness in this white Prada dress with a sexy midsection cutout. If you're thinking she's a serious style chameleon, you're right. "Kerry is pretty open to at least trying everything," according to Erin. "It might not work sometimes and we only see it in a fitting, but she is always game to try!"
So, which look of Kerry's do you ladies like best? Do you agree that she's been on a serious red carpet hot streak, or what? Cast your votes now, then discuss!
