?Lake District Farmers? who supply the finest premium quality Cumbrian bred meats have organised a 5 day dining event to raise money for the LDF Armstrong Family Charitable Fund for which top producers have supplied artisan produce to be cooked up by Britain?s acclaimed chefs to raise essential funds.
Clarence House the stunning boutique hotel and restaurant situated in the South Lake District will play host to the five evenings of fine dining from 1st to 5th February where a 5 course taste sensation priced at ?100 per person promises to bring the very best of Cumbrian cuisine to the table.
Hawkshead Relish produce an award winning range of over 120 artisan preserves which also feature on the menus of some of Britain?s top hotels and restaurants. Along with providing produce for the menus, 5 luxury Hawkshead Relish hampers have been donated to be raffled on the consecutive evenings. ?This is a fabulous event of which we are delighted to lend our support in raising money for such a worthy cause for our region. The ?Lake District Farmers? have done so much in putting Cumbrian fell bred meat on the plates of top London restaurants and it is fantastic that these same restaurants and chefs are now coming to Cumbria to support a charity for the local community?, said Kate Nicholson of the Hawkshead Relish Company.
