The last time I posted about creepers the reaction was overwhelmingly negative, and while I'm not trying to sway you (or on second thought, even sure that these would inspire anyone to switch from the "nay" to the "yay" camp), consider Alejandro Ingelmo's "Made In Maine" loafer-creepers.
I'm hesitant to say how cute I think these are (should y'all suddenly turn on me and chase my overall and Teva clad behind off the interweb with tiny, horrible, e-pitchforks), but I think they're cute?
Actually, no! I'm not afraid! Naysayers be darned, I think these are INSANELY cool, and super cute! I'd wear the heck out of them with a pair of light cropped skinny jeans, a men's button down, and tons of deep raspberry blush.
The styles also come in less conventionally "Maine" colors like distressed neon pink...
Aaaand neon yellow. Oh, and neon orange, and patent black. But the classic burgundy ones are my faves.
All of the styles were handmade in Maine. If you're as in to them as I am, don't get too excited JUST yet...they'll set you back anywhere from $475 to $800. If you're still in, you can pick up a pair on his website, or at Barney's, Neiman's, or Harvey Nichols!
On a scale of "GIMME GIMME" to "OMG what's wrong with you?!" how do you feel about these puppies?
