The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board has found "minor" issues with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner battery-charger and start-power units built by Tucson-based Securaplane Technologies Inc., but has not yet determined whether they contributed to an onboard fire earlier this month.
NTSB investigators visited Tucson this week to examine the two components after a fire that began inside a lithium-ion battery powering the plane's auxiliary power unit, or APU.
