With a new extensive monograph called Lateral Thinking, Monica Förster sums up her 15 years as a designer. Lateral Thinking is published by Arvinius and will be launched during Stockholm Design Week. The book illustrates her collaborations with some of the world?s most renowned design firms such as De Padova, Poltrona Frau, Cappellini, Tecno and Alessi. As well the book shows her impact on Swedish everyday life reflected through products for the institutional tableware producer Gense and the candle maker Liljeholmens. Lateral Thinking illuminates the creative process of Monica Förster Design Studio and provides a unique insight into Monica?s own thoughts on the design process. The book shows a lavish selection of photos of both famous and previously unpublished sketches, models and exhibition work, as well as portraits of the designer at work.
