Nazareth athletic director Anthony Barnes has decided against appealing a two-game suspension of point guard Bianca Cuevas that the CHSAA handed down after the star junior allegedly threw a punch at an opposing player during the final moments of a heated game last week. Cuevas was ejected from a game against Bishop Loughlin on Jan.23 after she got tangled up with Loughlin?s Jasmine Alston with 17 seconds left and Nazareth clinging to a 67-65 lead.
