Örnsbergsauktionen is an artist operated auction house for studio produced, independent design and craft. Back for its second year. Örnsbergsauktionen is created by Kristoffer Sundin, Simon Klenell and Fredrik Paulsen. Among the objects you will find unique pieces by TAF, Mia Larsson, Pontus Lindwall, Amba Molly and Andreas Nobel to mention a few. The auction takes place on February 8 at 7pm. Exhibition is open February 4?8, between 12pm and 6pm. Address is Jakobsdalsvägen 15 A, Örnsberg, Stockholm, Sweden. We need greater diversity, more and different people, and new geographies. Practices are retooled, altered and do not always fit comfortably the existing structures. A design individually created has no given audience or given system of distribution. The traditional suit is not seldom too tight for contemporary, interrogational craft, says Christina Zetterlund, Professor in Craft History and Theory, Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design.
