This just may be the best news to hit the web since the arrival of The Outnet in 2009: Barneys New York will launch a full-time discount site, barneyswarehouse.com, on Monday.
The incomparable department store (Sarah Jessica Parker once said, "If you're a nice person and you work hard, you get to go shopping at Barneys"), which has long held twice-yearly mega warehouse sales to liquidate its merchandise, is bringing the whole operation online full-time. According to WWD, "Barneyswarehouse.com will allow consumers who don't live near one of Barneys' 13 outlet stores to shop for bargains...Merchandise on the warehouse site will be past-season sale items at discounts of up to 75 percent off retail, including women's wear, men's wear, children's wear and Chelsea Passage that will be updated throughout the season."
