Spirit Airlines is ending daily service between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Denver less than six months after it started.
The Florida-based airline, known for its bargain basement fares and long lineup of fees, will cancel the once-a-day flights beginning April 25. Spirit spokeswoman Misty Pinson said the route will now be seasonal instead of year round based on demand. The flight is due to return on Nov. 7 for fall and winter travel, she said.
