Burger King Admits To Tainting Burgers With Horsemeat

Burger King admitted to the allegations that burgers sold in the U.K. and Ireland were tainted with horse meat.  The fast food giant sells approximately one million burgers in the U.K. at over 500 outlets.  Evidence has shown that the contaminated burgers have been occurring since May 2012 and could be up to a year.  Silvercrest, one of their beef producers, was known to import product from non-approved sources in Poland.  Diego Beamonte, Burger King's vice president, said "We are deeply troubled by the findings of our investigation and apologise to our guests, who trust us to source only the highest quality 100 percent beef burgers."  Would you trust Burger King after these findings?
