Amber Chair by Jaeuk Jung with Triennale di Milano at CAFA Art Museum in Beijing

Amber Chair: preserving immortal memories by Jaeuk Jung is displaying as a new edition of O'clock: time design, design time selected by Triennale di Milano [Triennale Design Museum] at CAFA Art Museum in Beijing, curated by Silvana Annicchiarico and Jan van Rossem, with a special exhibition design by Patricia Urquiola. After its great success in Milan, Triennale Design Museum is in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing, has in the spaces of CAFA Art Museum, a new edition of O'Clock: time design, design time. This special exhibition is to explore the relationship between time and design. It was first held in Milan 2011 and included works by Louise Bourgeois, Kiki van Eijk, John Cage, Damien Hirst, Kouichi Okamoto, Marcel Wanders, to name a few. The exhibition in Beijing includes an expanded and updated selection of works, newly emerging and already established design potential, including some by Chinese artist and designer. A wide-ranging display of original site-specific works, installations, design objects, works of art and videos by international artists and designers seek to answer questions such as: ?How is time measured??, ?How can passing time be shown?? and ?How can time be experienced??.
