Easter inspired macarons from Sweet Explorations are absolutely adorable.  These delicate French cookies can be tricky to make but if you have the time to put into make them, they are definitely worth it.  For this recipe, two macarons are sandwiched together with a tart lemon curd and decorated with royal icing to resemble a chick.  This same technique can also be applied to decorating your macarons to look like Easter eggs.  For full recipe instructions, click here.
