An indoor herb garden is an effective and green home-grown remedy. Best of all, it can be enjoyed year-round! The herbs can be used in a mint julep (the Kentucky Derby is May 4!) or basil gimlets. Homemade simple syrups with rosemary, thyme or sage add savory notes to cocktails and mocktails alike.
