Small business owners say immigrants help economy grow

Small businesses view immigrants not just as necessary workers but as consumers that help their companies and the economy grow, a new national poll indicates. The survey of 515 small businesses by The Main Street Alliance and the American Sustainable Business Council found that 67 percent of small business owners nationally and 78 percent in Western states, including Arizona, support giving a path to citizenship to immigrants already in the country.
