Blacks still face challenges in economic equality

WASHINGTON -- The National Urban League says African-Americans are making tremendous gains in education, but have seen little change in economic equality in the last 50 years. In its annual State of Black America report, the civil rights group said unemployment remains the biggest barrier. The report was released Wednesday during the Urban League's annual legislative conference in Washington.
