Suffolk Downs? casino developer forging ties with local businesses

Suffolk Downs and its casino partner, Caesars Entertainment, today launched a major charm offensive to win the support of the local business community.

?A development of the scale we are proposing will spend approximately $150 million annually on goods and services,? said Chip Tuttle, Suffolk Downs? chief operating officer. ?Local and regional businesses will be the primary beneficiaries of this spending.?

If the casino earns a license at the racetrack, it will need food, beverage, furniture, construction and other vendors.
