London is the Next Market For Droga5

April 25, 2013

Droga5's next office will be in London.

The outpost, slated to open in June, will be the agency's third, following New York and Sydney. The agency's executives have been eyeing a move into a European market for some time, but had been coy about where precisely it would land.

The London office will be led by CEO Kevin Dundas, executive creative director Nik Studzinski, and head of account management Olivia Legere.

Dundas joins Droga5 after three years as president and managing partner of 180 Amsterdam. Studzinski and Legere will migrate from Droga5's New York headquarters, which each has accumulated experience on top accounts. Studzinski’s portfolio includes campaigns for brands like Puma, Kraft MilkBite and Coke Zero. Legere has handled both new business and account roles, helping bring in key marketers like Prudential, and leading the agency’s Mondelez and Kraft business.

All three executives are English-born, and have experience working in London. Dundas and Studzinski also both worked with Droga5 founder and chairman David Droga at Saatchi & Saatchi in London.

Droga5 expects the London office to service a mix of new and existing accounts. News of the latest office comes just a week after the agency promoted many of its top executives to broader roles.

“By adding a European hub to our offering, we’re even better positioned to help our clients achieve their international brand and business goals,” said Droga5 vice chairman Andrew Essex.

“You can’t build a truly influential global company without having a strong presence in London,” added Droga. “It’s pound for pound the most creative market in the world, which is why I am as excited as I am intimidated about this new canvas.”
