Last night, Diane von Furstenberg made an appearance at the Gap on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan to celebrate her new collection of adorable children's clothing in collab with the retailer. The little swimsuits and printed jeans were just about the cutest things I've ever seen, but I wondered: Would she ever think of making an adult version of these outfits and go twinsies with one of her daughters (when they were younger). "I think some people like it, and some don't," she said. I think it can be chic. My daughter never wanted to dress like me, but then again, she used to wear my clothes. It was cute!"
Would you go twinsies in any of these outfits? Here's a sampling of what DVF and Gap have come up with, for newborns to 14 years of age.
DVF even included her signature wrapdress in the mix! I like the safari theme, which is seen on graphic tees featuring tigers, zebras, fauna, flora, and exotic butterflies. Prices for the collection range from $20 to $150.
What do you think of the DVF/Gap collection? What's your favorite look?
