Wayfair shifting HQ to Copley Place

Wayfair.com, a Hub-based online retailer of home products and furnishings, said today it has signed a new 105,000-square-foot lease at The Offices at Copley Place in the Back Bay with Simon Property Group Inc.

The location will become the company?s new corporate headquarters, officials said. Wayfair currently occupies 10 floors of space at nearby 177 Huntington Ave.

The new space is 10 percent larger than Wayfair?s current offices and can be expanded as the company continues to grow, officials said. As of last year, the company had more than 1,200 employees.
