Havas Worldwide is continuing to shake up the management ranks, naming Tim Maleeny chief strategy officer in the agency's New York office.
He replaces Tom Morton, who left in March to join the newly-established Big Apple outpost of Omnicom Group's Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
Mr. Maleeny is making the jump to Havas from WPP's Ogilvy, New York, where he had been since 2009. There he ran the agency's strategic planning department. Mr. Maleeny has held a variety of roles in his career, including copywriter, producer, account director, and strategic planner. Prior to Ogilvy, Mr. Maleeny held a strategy role at Publicis & Hal Riney, and earlier in his career had roles at WPP's Cole & Weber and Y&R.
