Draftfcb Wins California Nature Conservancy

Draftfcb S.F. won the creative account for The Nature Conservancy in California, in the group’s first outreach to a marketing communications partner. The Interpublic agency was one of four undisclosed shops vying for the business.

Spending could not immediately be determined. It’s Draftfcb's first new business win since Brooks Day joined the agency in February as vp of business development. Day was formerly director of business development, West, at Razorfish, where he oversaw revenue growth of the digital agency's San Francisco, Portland and Seattle offices.

Julie Scelzo, svp and group creative director, who joined Draftfcb in 2009 and made her mark with the “Wear the Pants” campaign for Dockers, led the Conservancy pitch and will oversee the agency’s efforts to raise the organization's profile.
