City OK?s 195 apartments off South Huntington

An apartment complex reaching 13 stories at its highest point has been approved for an empty 1-acre lot in Jamaica Plain that was once controlled by a Native American center.

The complex, called Serenity, will be built at 105 South Huntington Ave., that will abut the Jamaicaway. The project was approved by the Boston Redevelopment Authority this week.
