If you watch The Amazing Race, you may have already spotted the Schiller S1 water bike when it was featured in a challenge. Half premium bicycle and half catamaran, the design is supported by an anodized aluminum frame and stainless steel parts. According to Schiller, “a proprietary drive train employs Gate carbon drive belts, flexible shafts, and propulsion system that enables riders to easy create forward thrust with a high degree of maneuverability.” Not only is it a great form of cardio and promises to burn the same amount of calories as a regular bike, but you’ll be out on the water, which will be a nice change of pace from the routine city streets.
