She Does WHAT to Her Louboutins?!

Oct 24, 2012  |   Contributor: Nicolle Keogh

Last season saw budget-savvy women getting creative to get the kind luxury fashion look that only Christian Louboutins can achieve. While several ladies painted the soles of their stilettos red, one well-known celebrity did just the opposite. Martha Stewart alters her designer shoes by painting the soles black, and she’s not discreet about her personal fashion taste. While we’re glad that Stewart at least asked Louboutin’s permission before committing the ultimate fashion sacrilege, we can’t really find anything classy about the way she walked the red carpet openly expressing her distaste of the designer’s trademark to reporters.... That’s right: the teen singer with a die-hard fan base is the new face of Adidas’s NEO Label. And this isn’t a one-stop campaign: each week for five weeks, fans will be asked to participate in a contest — complete with clues from Bieber himself— that will result in two lucky fans winning an all-expenses-paid trip to meet the singer in person.... Brian Atwood Campaign Ruffles Feathers in New York

Sep 19, 2012  |   Contributor: Sally Farris  |  1 Comment

Arguably the most intimate act is currently on display on every street corner, billboard, and television set for everyone to see. Everywhere we look, there is sex, or sexy people seductively posing with often unexciting products. Advertisers bank on the fact that people like sex, so they associate beautiful people with the product they are selling, subliminally suggesting that it will get you laid. That is advertising, sex sells. But shoe designer, Brian Atwood’s latest campaign featuring a scantily clad Candice Swanepoel and a few other nude models is now being considered a little too sexy to play on the inside of New York City Taxi Cabs, where grandmother’s and small children will potentially be scarred for life....
