Park Hyatt New York Becomes 9th Hotel in NYC to be Awarded Prestigious AAA Five Diamond Rating

AAA has just awarded the Park Hyatt New York their prestigious Five Diamond rating. It is a first for the hotel which has only been open since August 2014. The Newly-Renovated Ritz Paris Catches Fire, Further Delays Opening Set for March

Talk about bad timing. Early Tuesday morning, the Ritz Paris’ seventh floor caught fire and spread from to the attic and roof. This comes just weeks before the renovated hotel was set to reopen on March 20. Fire crews were alerted of the fire at 7 a.m. local time, and the area was blocked off during rush hour while 60 firefighters and 15 fire engines quickly sprayed the flames.
