$40k Abyss Dining Table Artfully Mimics the Depths of the Ocean

Designed by Duffy London, the Abyss Dining Table mimics the ocean by playing with depth and 3-D geological mapping. The functional piece of furniture took a year to develop and is handmade using Plexiglas and ethically-sourced wood, which you can see from the top and the underside. With the layers getting darker the deeper they get, it’s meant to give diners the feeling of looking down into the deep abyss of the open sea. Limited to only 25, the table is also lit from within, which lends more drama to the overall look.
