Transfer City: Several shuttle services, including the Airport Express and the
Birmingham Door to Door, operate between the airport and the city,
but reservations must be made prior to arrival. Taxi services are
available 24 hours a day at ground level outside the baggage claim
area.
Car Rental: Rental car counters are located at ground level near the baggage
claim area and Concourse B. Vendors include Alamo, Avis, Budget,
Dollar Thrifty, Enterprise, National and Hertz.
Airport Facilities: Facilities at the airport include restaurants, bars, shops,
fax/copy and package delivery services, currency exchange, wireless
Internet and tourist information. Two ATMs are available on the
upper level between Concourses B and C. The business centre is
located in this area as well.
Car Parking: The free Cell Phone Lot is recommended for drivers waiting to
pick up a passenger. It is located on Airline Drive, a short
distance from the terminal building. The airport's parking garage,
located within easy walking distance of the terminal building,
provides short-term parking at a rate of $1 per hour and $24 per
day; and medium-stay parking at a rate of $1 per hour and $12 per
day.
