While the term seems a bit ironic, the idea is to fuse adventure and relaxation with exploration of the great outdoors.
Located only a few miles west of Las Vegas, the Red Rock Canyon is the perfect playground for the adventurer. At the Adventure Spa, you take control of the level of adventure you prefer, whether you seek a guided vehicle tour through the canyons, kayaking at the base of the Hoover Dam, a river raft adventure through the Black Canyon, or rock climbing. There are guided mountain bike tours as well as bike rentals for those who prefer to explore at their own pace.
Full-day guided itineraries include a tri-sport journey that includes hiking down Boy Scout Canyon to soaking in the natural hot springs, kayaking the Colorado River, and enjoying a picnic lunch on the beach. A shorter excursion may include a morning horseback ride to the base of a western town at Wilson Cliffs, to immerse in a tranquil and breathtaking sunrise; or should you prefer a cowboy steak dinner near a sizzling campfire, a dinner horseback ride can be arranged.

I have just bookmarked the Red Rock Resort site now I will share it with all my family and extended family this looks like a lot of fun for everyone.
