On Monday, May 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., some of Boston's most prestigious and renowned culinary luminaries are coming together to pay tribute to one of the city's founding fathers of the restaurant industry, Jack Sidell.
Jack Sidell was a financer who helped put Boston's culinary scene on the map by supporting such talent as Jasper White, Todd English and Steve DiFillippo. All proceeds from the event will benefit Mass General Heart Health Center where he was treated prior to his passing in 2007.
Twenty of Boston's most prestigious chefs and restaurateurs will be participating in the event and include:
The event is being held in the Galleria at 10 Saint James Avenue, adjacent to Davio's Restaurant. Dress is cocktail attire. Tickets are $150 per person or $275 for a couple. Tickets can be purchased at www.facebook.com/metrestaurant or at www.eventbrite.com.
