Charlotte Dining: Upstream serves some of the finest seafood in Charlotte. They get a little more creative here than your average fish joint, and every evening's menu holds secrets and surprises. Executive Chef Scott Wallen has put together a tour of tastes earning Upstream many awards.
The Bento Box here comes highly-recommended, as do the hand rolls. Cooked fish can also be ordered, but it is the raw bar inspired by the Pacific Rim that provides the biggest draw.
