Chicago Things To Do: Millennium Park opened in 2004 and quickly became one of the most visited sites in the city. The park sits on top of a parking garage and commuter rail station, thus qualifying it as the world's largest rooftop garden.

Hailed for it eco- and pedestrian-friendly design, the park features many signature attractions. The Jay Pritzker pavilion is a world-class outdoor concert venue surrounded by gardens and the popular Cloud Gate sculpture.
