Luxury Yachting: Long walks on the beach, Mai Tai's at sunset--no, this is not a personals ad. It's just a glimpse of the activities you can enjoy on a sailing vacation with The Moorings. Take to the seas with your own private, crewed yacht or brave the open water on your own. Want to travel with friends? The Moorings Flotillas present exciting opportunities to sail in tandem, on your own separate yachts.

The Moorings Sailing Vacations are offered in 37 exotic locations, from Athens and Nice to Tahiti and St. Martin. Explore tropical and ancient destinations like Belize, "Mother Nature's best kept secret," and Greece, the land of the Titans. Other than feeling the ocean air on your cheeks, the best part about The Moorings is that each vacation is unique--no contrived group activities. If you want to go scuba diving or fishing, or simply soak up the sun, no one will tell you to get back on board or that you must take dinner at 6 o'clock sharp. And there will be no cans of sardines on your excursion--unless you want them. The Moorings offer several provisioning packages tailored to your personal preferences; you can even have a chef on board.

In fact, The Moorings take care of everything--they will even make hotel and car rental reservations and reserve kayaks and diving equipment for you. When you arrive at your departure port, your yacht will be ready to go, with a fully stocked galley and the engine running...all you have to do is sit back and relax. No need to worry about linens and towels or snorkeling gear--many of their yachts even include such amenities as a barbeque grill, GPS and autopilot.

The price for chartered and private yachts and flotillas depends on many factors, including itinerary, length and date of your trip, number of people traveling, provisioning package, which yacht you choose, and whether or not you select a private or crewed sailing experience.
