 Marquis Yachts Is Floating Upwardly!
Luxury Yachts: Marquis Yacht is a U.S. based firm that is definitely
on the rise. With each release, beginning with the
Carver 59 Marquis, the company is diligently
establishing its niche for launching innovative,
Italian-inspired-designed yachts. The 59 features
twin 660 horsepower Cummins QSM11 diesel inboards,
with the option to upgrade to twin 825 horsepower MTU
Series 60 diesel inboards. The ship's overall length
is nearly 60 feet with platform and a waterline length
that exceeds 45 feet. Standard features include a
hydraulic swim platform and fore and aft shore-power
ties. The interior features a Sub-Zero® refrigerator
and freezer, a 32-inch Sony® plasma TV and a 110-volt
stereo and Surround Sound® system. Granite
countertops and soles are also standard. The ship
sleeps up to eight occupants and has seven-foot cabin
headroom. The base price of the 59 is $1,295,000, but
an additional $300,000 of upgrades is available.
The buzz about the docks is that the Carver 65 Marquis
is akin to the 59, but its added length provides a
more aesthetic symmetry to her proportions. Both
yachts have the trademarked styling of the Nuvolari
and Leonard. The 65's price tag floats in at around
$2.25 million.
Marquis Yachts is expected to make a big splash at the
Palm Beach Boat Show in West Palm Beach, Florida. The
show runs from March 23-26. Both the Carver 65
Marquis and the Carver 59 Marquis will be displayed.
